🔭 What we're looking for

We are looking for a Product Designer who loves beautiful and functional design to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be guarding and improving the user experience of our product. 

You will help dog parents navigate through our product intuitively whilst having a visually pleasant experience.

You are used to using qualitative and quantitative data as your tools of the trade and have experience conducting UX research that you use to build great products.

💪 Responsibilities

• You will conduct UX research, listen to users and translate their feedback into new features or improvements that we incorporate into the product.
• You will create high quality wireframes, prototypes and design the final UI for implementation.
• You will explore new ideas and make them tangible through prototyping and visualization.
• Act as a subject matter expert and uphold the user experience of our products
• Contribute to ideation, user testing, implementation and feedback
• Collaborate with team members across different functions to deliver quality UX and UI solutions
• You will, together with the team, design, iterate and develop the product.

🧶 Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in an Product Designer role or equivalent
• Swedish in native level fluency in both writing and speaking
• English in professional level fluency in both writing and speaking
• Experience using both qualitative and quantitative data to guide your decisions
• Has a proactive attitude and can work well both collaboratively and independently

Bonus

• Experience working with a consumer facing product or mobile app
• Knowledge of A/B testing, user testing and other experimentation formats
• Have worked at a startup previously and know what requires at an early stage.

🐶 About Us

Our product

Our main product today is a mobile app with dog courses and training for all ages and a budding community where Petli members can share stories of their dogs. All our educational materials are validated based on science and vetted by some of Sweden's foremost dog experts.

Within each course, dog owners receive constructive feedback from Petli's professional dog trainers and earn medals to track their progress. And within our community, people can post their experiences with their dogs and follow each other's progress.

Our team

We are a team of four multi-national animal lovers, all dedicated to improving the lives of dogs everywhere. Our varied experiences are the key for us to finding creative solutions and building the best product.

With a diverse team comes diverse hobbies and interests. Some have a dog, some like to climb, some like to travel, and some play video games. But we all believe in having fun together and creating a healthy and productive company culture where everyone matters.
