Co-Founder – 🙋♀️🐶🙋♂️Name: Caroline Alupo
Title: Co-founder, Head of content
What I do at Petli: Anything in need of dog expertise is placed on my desk. It can involve content production, product development, design and marketing. As co-founder I’m involved in most decision making and future planning. An ordinary day can be filled with brainstorming meetings, text and film production, coaching our users or project managing the content team.
Education: Masters degree in Ethology, Professional Dog trainer and Dog psychologist.
Work experience: I’ve devoted 17 years to the dog industry working foremost with dogs struggling with problematic behaviours. I’m frequently hired by companies, universities, the Swedish police force and the media when ethological expertise is needed. In the past I’ve had the privileges to work as a field biologist within primate rehabilitation in both Ecuador and Indonesia. I have been the supervisor of a tropicarium and at an agriculture college offering educational programs focusing on animal care and conservation.
Favourite dog: My own pack consisting of two elkhounds and a tibetan spaniel. I have a passion for working dogs.
Fun fact: I’ve been a jockey and raced horses for a living.
What do you appreciate about working at Petli? I appreciate our united devotion to Petlis' vision and goals. Our ethical and warm values. We’re a flat organisation much like a dog pack on a mission. We all have super powers bringing unique and important tools needed on our expedition. We stand united, stronger together. I love feeling our joint force and solidarity. We work hard, care for each other and laugh a lot. Work days at Petli are always fun and challenging.
