What I do at Petli: I’m involved in almost every part of the company both high and low level. I use my background as a growth hacker to optimize processes within almost all areas. Yes, I’m obnoxiously data-driven to the point where it’s almost a cliché. My favorite word is “iterate”. I know... 

Education: School was not really my ball game, it seemed square, slow and sometimes irrelevant in regards to my life goals. So after high school I dowe head first into business life. I’m more interested in learning by doing. I did study at an english speaking IT high school where I learnt design and basic programming so the tech path is very intuitive.

Work experience: I’ve been the Head of Growth at different tech companies and have also consulted within growth. It’s been at many different stages ranging from start-up (pre product) to scale up. I’ve seen a lot and done a lot ranging from being a one-man-show to running a team. Otherwise I have a very stereotypical entrepreneurial story starting at the age of 11.

Favourite dog: Alaskan Huskies. I went dog sledding and was mesmerized and inspired by how the pack of dogs worked in a team.

Fun fact: I used to be a professional poker player and played cards for a living.

What do you appreciate about working at Petli?: Company wise I really enjoy our data-driven and ego-less process in basically any part of the company that is not dog science (science is science). We have a very open and non-hierarchical company culture where everybody’s opinion is taken into consideration. Basically, our opinions change with new information. Vision wise, I love the fact that our product will help millions of dogs and people around the world. We will save the humans time and money while improving the dogs welfare.
